Lighthouse Children's Ministry

Lighthouse Children's Ministry is a special place for kids of all ages-from infants through sixth graders. Staffed by a group of committed, enthusiastic volunteers and staff, we strive to enrich the lives of our kids using fun and creative learning tools. We regularly share biblical truths and inspiring Christ-based ideas with our children so that they grow up knowing, beyond any doubt, how much God loves them and how very special they are in God's sight. As our Mission suggests, "Lighthouse Children's Ministry will guide kids to Christ and teach them to reflect and shine in God's light."

We had a great time this year at VBS. We partnered with UW Sports Ministries to present a brand new camp theme “Go The Distance.”  All kids ages  4-years through 6th grade were invited to attend. Preschoolers followed a special track as part of Team 45; elementary age kids  chose between three different tracks: basketball, cheerleading, or environmental science GoGreen!. Kids who stayed all day joined Camp Conservation and participated in a variety of organized activities centered around taking care of the earth that God gave us. We can't wait until next year!   

 Hey Kids! Join us for a Friday night filled with tons of fun while parents and caretakers take the night off. We'll provide kid-friendly food, games, a short lesson, movie, fellowship, and more.

Friday, September 24 from 6-9 p.m.
$10 per child (includes dinner); 3rd & 4th child (same family) $7 ea.
Open to ALL kids 4-years of age through 6th grade.
Our youngest kids will be separated into age-appropriate groups.
Bring a friend!
Open to the entire North County community!

Fifth and sixth graders will go off-site to play Laser Tag for a cost of $12 per child. Includes dinner, transportation, and two games. Parent drivers needed.

Programs-- Lighthouse Children's Ministry welcomes children from infant through sixth grade to join us for Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. Our classes are divided according to age and children graduate to new levels in June of each year.

Starfish Nursery -- Infant to 2-years
Guppy/Turtle Classroom -- Two- to Three-year-olds
Dolphin Bay Classroom -- 4-year-olds through Kindergarten
The Dock -- Grades 1 and 2
Waverunners -- Grades 3 and 4
JC Surf Club -- Grades 5 and 6

Other Programs -- The Lighthouse hosts Indian Hills camp for kids third through sixth grade, presents an enriching Vacation Bible School program each July,  JINGLE JAM Kids Camp, as special celebration of Jesus' birth in December and various other fellowship  opportunities.  These include Kids Night Out, occasions to sing and participate in our Family church services, and service projects
